Appointment of Non-executive Director

Dialight plc (LSE: DIA.L), a global leader in LED lighting for heavy industrial applications, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr John Lincoln as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 1 August 2024. On appointment John will become a member of the Audit, Nominations and Remuneration Committees, and will also serve on the Transformation Committee.

John has 30 years' experience of the photonics industry across the supply chain from components to systems with a focus on business and product development. He has a broad experience of international markets and developing technologies and has been based in the UK and USA. He is currently CEO of the Photonics Leadership Group which brings together academic and industry leaders in the £15b UK photonics sector. He also chairs the steering board of the EPSRC centre for doctoral training in photonic integration and advanced data storage, and is European Strategic Director for SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics.
