In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Dairy Crest Group plc hereby notifies the market that on 31 March 2011 the total number of voting rights in the company is 133,305,375 and the total number of shares in issue is 133,305,375, each with a nominal value of 25p. No shares were held in treasury.

The above figure (133,305,375) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in Dairy Crest Group plc under the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure & Transparency Rules.
