Dairy Crest Deferred Bonus Plan ("DBP")
On 1 July 2008 Dairy Crest made an award of shares in the company to one Director as below:
M Allen 2,931 shares
In accordance with the rules of the DBP this share award has been made for a nil price consideration in lieu of payment of a cash bonus due to the awardee in respect of the financial year 2007/08. The number of shares awarded has been calculated by reference to the closing market price of 327.5 pence on 25 June 2008. The shares will be held by the Trustees of the Dairy Crest ESOP as nominee until they fully vest in 3 years time, subject to the awardee remaining employed by Dairy Crest during that period.
The Company has also allocated additional shares to participants in the DBP, including the executive directors listed below. The following shares were allocated on 26 June 2008 being the reinvestment of the final dividend for 2007/08 declared on shares already awarded under the DBP at a price of 327.5 pence per share.
