CORRECTION: Directors' Share Purchases 

We refer to the RNS announcement made earlier today at 12.47pm, 30 May 2008. Martin Oakes correct holding post today's share purchase represents 0.005% of the issued share capital of the Company and not 0.001% as previously announced. Full text held below.

Dairy Crest Group plc (the "Company") has been informed that the following share purchases by directors of the Company took place today: 

Mark Allen, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, purchased 5,000 ordinary shares at a price of 413.75 pence per share. These shares will be registered in the name of his wife, Mrs Amanda Allen. As a result of this transaction Mr Allen has increased his shareholding and now beneficially owns 78,687 shares in Dairy Crest (representing 0.059% of the issued share capital of the Company), of which 250 are held in his name and the remainder in his wife's name.

Alistair Murray, Finance Director of the Company purchased 8,000 ordinary shares at a price of 413.75 pence per share. As a result of this transaction Mr Murray has increased his shareholding and now beneficially owns 27,806 shares in Dairy Crest (representing 0.021% of the issued share capital of the Company).

Martin Oakes purchased 5,000 ordinary shares at a price of 413.75 pence per share. As a result of this transaction Mr Oakes has increased his shareholding and now beneficially owns 6,000 shares in Dairy Crest (representing 0.005% of the issued share capital of the Company).

Martyn Wilks purchased 8,000 ordinary shares at a price of 413.75 pence per share. As a result of this transaction Mr Wilks has increased his shareholding and now beneficially owns 8,500 shares in Dairy Crest (representing 0.006% of the issued share capital of the Company).
