Board Change

DCC plc, the leading international sales, marketing and support services group, announces the appointment of Ms. Caroline Dowling as a non-executive Director and a member of the Remuneration Committee and of the Nomination and Governance Committee with effect from 13 May 2019.

Caroline is a highly experienced business leader with extensive global knowledge in the technology sector, specifically electronic, technical and logistic services. Caroline was, until her retirement in February 2018, the former Business Group President of Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX), a $26 billion, industry-leading, Fortune Global 500 company with more than 200,000 employees and operations in 30 countries. In this role, she led the Telecommunications, Enterprise Compute, Networking and Cloud Data Centre, a $9 billion group, comprised of an international team focused on product design, manufacturing and services, providing end-to-end solutions worldwide.

Additionally, she was responsible for managing the Global Services Division, a $1 billion business unit supporting complex supply chains in forward and reverse logistics, replenishment management and end to end global distribution.

Caroline was previously President, Flex Corporate Development & Strategy Team, Corporate Marketing, and Retail & Technical Services Business Units (2007 to 2012), Senior Vice President, Flex Global Sales & OEM Business (2003 to 2007) and held several other management and executive roles within Flex (2000 to 2003).

Caroline joined Flex when it acquired The Dii/Dovatron Group, where she held various management roles, including Vice President of Europe and Director of European Business.

She is a former non-executive director of the Irish Industrial Development Agency (2016 to 2017).

The Chairman of DCC plc, John Moloney, said today:

There are no details to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority in respect of Ms. Dowling.
