GlobalData announces that it was notified today that following completion of the acquisition of Research Views, RBC cees Trustees Limited, acting in their capacity as Trustees of The GlobalData Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT"), acquired 2,333,333 ordinary shares today from the vendors of Research Views (a company previously controlled by Mike Danson, Wayne Lloyd and other minority shareholders) at a price of 585 pence per share to satisfy the future vesting of share awards under the Group's employee share schemes, as permitted under the Lock-in Arrangements ("the EBT Share Purchase").
Under the EBT Share Purchase, the Company has been notified today that on 27 April 2018 Mike Danson, Wayne Lloyd (and persons connected to him) sold 2,013,877 ordinary shares at a price of 585 pence per share to meet tax liabilities that fall due as a result of the sale of Research Views to the Company.
Details of the ordinary shares sold by Directors/PDMRs and their connected parties and their interests in ordinary shares following the disposals are set out below:
