GlobalData plc (the "Company") announces that Simon Pyper will be stepping down from the Board of the Company and as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 31 December 2017. Simon served as Chief Executive Officer until January 2016 when Mike Danson moved from his role as Executive Chairman to become CEO and Simon moved to become Chief Financial Officer, supported by Graham Lilley as Finance Director.

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Lilley to the Board of the Company and as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 January 2018. Graham was previously the Company's Finance Director.

Bernard Cragg, Executive Chairman, commented: "The Board wishes Simon well for the future and also thanks him for his major contribution to the business over the last ten years as both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. The Board would also like to congratulate Graham on his appointment."

Mike Danson, CEO, said ''I would like to add my thanks to Simon for his support and commitment over the last 10 years to helping GlobalData become the leading international player it is today."

*Notes: Graham Lilley, aged 33, holds 200,000 options over ordinary shares under the Company's unapproved share option scheme. The options are exercisable in two tranches at an exercise price of 0.0714p per ordinary share. Graham holds no ordinary shares in the Company.
