This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 13.10(B) of the Rules Governing the Listingof Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. (the "Company") announces that, basedon the Company's preliminary statistics, as at 31 December 2014, total power generationof the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group") amounted to 188.8449 billion kWh,representing a decrease of approximately 1.58% when compared to the correspondingperiod of the previous year. Total on-grid power generation of the Group amountedto 178.6369billion kWh, representing a decrease of approximately 1.54% when comparedto the corresponding period of the previous year. The Group's power generation of thermal power generation units decreased by approximately3% when compared to the corresponding period of the previous year which was attributableto the impact brought by slowdown of national economic growth and lower overall on-gridutilisation hours of areas where the Group's thermal power generation units are located.The Group's power generation of hydropower generation units increased by approximately12.95% when compared to the corresponding period of the previous year as a result of anincrease in inflowing water in the areas where the generation units situated. Due toenhancement in the capacity of the Group's photovoltaic generation units, powergeneration of wind power and photovoltaic generation units increased by approximately6.77% when compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Status of capacity increase in 2014 Installed capacity in 2014 increased by 2,754.39MW in total, breakdown of which isshown as below: 1. Increase in installed capacity of coal-fired generation units by way of modification: 160MW,newly installed capacity: 2,080MW; 2. Increase in newly installed capacity of hydro-electric power generatingunits: 213.79MW, purchase capacity: 12.6MW ; 3. Increase in newly installed capacity of wind power generating units: 168MW; 4. Increase in newly installed capacity of photovoltaic generating units: 120MW. III. Approval status of power generation projects of the Group In 2014, the Group obtained official approvals on 7 power generation projects, details areas follows: 1. Coal-fired power projects: Hebei Wei County power plant 2X600MW project, Inner MongoliaAutonomous Region Tuoketuo power plant phase 5 2X660MW project; 2. Wind power projects: Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Hongsibao phase 1 100MW wind powerproject, Liaoning Datang International Changtu Sanshengtun 50 MW wind power project,Liaoning Datang International Fuxin Sifangmiao 50MW wind power project, Jiangxi DatangInternational Xunwu Luanluozhang 66MW wind power project; 3. Hydropower project: Chongqing Haokou Hydropower 10MW capacity expansion project.
