Daniel Stewart Securities PLC28 January 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 28 JANUARY 2005 DANIEL STEWART SECURITIES PLC (AIM) TRADING UPDATE The Board of Daniel Stewart Securities plc ("Daniel Stewart" or "the Company"),the smaller company adviser, is pleased to announce that since the beginning ofJanuary 2005, the Company has had the following new business wins: Daniel Stewart has been retained as Nominated Adviser and Broker to AIM listed Jarvis Securities plc, which through its operating subsidiary carries on the business of the provision of execution only stockbroking services, the marketing and provision of PEPs, ISAs and SIPPs, and the provision of tailored financial administration services. The Company has also acted as Adviser on two reverse takeover transactions, namely, Acquisitor Plc, on the proposed reverse takeover of Agenda Television Limited, which trades as Tinopolis, and for Financial Development Corporation plc, on the proposed reverse takeover of GGPC Gabon, which will change its name to FirstAfrica Oil plc. The Company also recently acted as Broker to Servision PLC, a leading developer and supplier of video communication products, on Servision PLC's successful admission to AIM. In addition, Daniel Stewart has acted on the following fundraisings: • A £11.05 million placing for AIM listed Matrix Communications Group Plc,the supplier of high performance IT network solutions to the public and privatesectors in the UK. • £5 million has been raised for the proposed placing for AIM listed XNCheckout Holdings Plc, a market leader of Electronic Point of Sale ('EPOS')solutions to the leisure, retail and hospitality markets. • £400,000 placing for Laminate Flooring Direct PLC, a specialist reseller to the trade and public of laminate and solid wood flooring, which is listed on OFEX.
