ISSUE OF EQUITY/ HOLDING(S) IN COMPANY
Daniel Stewart (AIM:DAN), stockbroker and corporate finance adviser to smaller and medium-sized companies, is today pleased to announce that 19,928,000 new ordinary shares of 0.25p pence each ("Ordinary Shares") have been conditionally placed with institutional and other investors at a price of 3.125 pence per Ordinary Share, raising proceeds of £622,750 for the Company ("the Placing"). The proceeds from the Placing will be used to provide working capital for the Company.
As a result, Allianz Equity Investments plc will be interested in 12,480,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 5.30 per cent. of the then issued share capital of the Company.
Following the issue and allotment application will be made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 30 September 2008 ("Admission"). The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.
Following Admission Daniel Stewart's issued share capital will comprise 235,311,066 Ordinary Shares. All of the Ordinary Shares carry voting rights and this will be the figure which may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company.
