The following announcement is made in accordance with Section 430(2B) of the Companies Act 2006.

Richard Cotton ceased to be a director and employee of Consort Medical plc (the "Company") on 13 December 2016. He received salary and benefits up to this date. He will not participate in the Company's annual bonus scheme for the year ending 30 April 2017, and all outstanding share awards (deferred bonus and long-term incentives) have lapsed as a result of his departure from the Company. In line with the Company's Directors' Remuneration Policy, he will not receive any further remuneration payments or payments related to his loss of office.

Details of the salary and benefits paid to Richard Cotton during the year will be disclosed in the Company's Directors' Remuneration Report for the year ending 30 April 2017.
