Board change
James Cropper PLC (AIM: CRPR.L), the specialist paper and advanced materials group, announces that Sir James Cropper will retire as a non-executive director of the Company at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
Sir James has served the Company for over 46 years and on his retirement from the Board will become the Company's first Honorary President. Thus while he will relinquish official duties and responsibility, he will remain the Company's figurehead.
Mark Cropper, Chairman, commented:
"I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Sir James for his stewardship and leadership spanning six decades, steering the Company from a provincial manufacturer to a globally renowned player in numerous markets."
