Directors' share transactions
Following announcements concerning security granted over Carpetright's shares and the recent share sales made by persons connected with Lord Harris, Carpetright plc has received notification that the number of shares over which security exists has reduced accordingly and that the security granted by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities which currently exists is as follows:
Lord Harris has granted security over 100,000 ordinary shares of 1p each held by him personally;
Harris Ventures Limited has granted security over its entire shareholding in Carpetright plc, namely 4,707,470 ordinary shares of 1p each; and
HVL Properties Limited has granted security over its entire shareholding in Carpetright plc, namely 1,136,000 ordinary shares of 1p each.
HVL Properties Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harris Ventures Limited. Lord Harris is a shareholder in and a director of Harris Ventures Limited.
