Capita Board Update

Capita plc (Capita), a leading UK provider of technology-enabled business process and customer management services, today announces that its Chief Executive, Andy Parker, is to step down from the Group Board and leave the Company later this year, to pursue the next phase of his career once a process to select a successor has been completed. Andy has contributed strongly to the Company over the last 16 years and played a key role in leading Capita, as Chief Executive, for the past three years and through the challenges of 2016. The Board is commencing a process to select a new CEO and, in the meantime, Andy will continue in his current role and at the appropriate time facilitate a smooth transition.

Sir Ian Powell, Chairman, said:

"In the short time I have been a member of the Capita Board and in my role as Chairman since 1 January 2017, I have worked closely with Andy. He has made a significant contribution throughout his career at Capita and been instrumental in building the software, technology, and digital capabilities of the Company. In addition, under Andy’s tenure, Capita has recently moved into the customer management market in Germany and Switzerland. Andy’s dedication to the Company remains strong and he will actively support the Board in the process to identify a successor."
