CAPRICORN ENERGY PLC ("Capricorn" or "the Company")

 

 

Exercise of option and Total Voting Rights

 

 

Capricorn announces that, on 2 October 2023, an employee exercised an option over 1 ordinary share of 490/143 pence in the Company ("Option Share") at an exercise price of £1.868. This exercise is intended to ensure that, as at the record time for the share consolidation that forms part of the "Q4 Return of Cash" that was announced on 14 September 2023, the issued share capital of the Company is exactly divisible by 3. 

 

Applications have been made to the FCA and the London Stock Exchange for the Option Share to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities (the "Admission"). It is expected that Admission will become effective on 3 October 2023.

 

Following the issue of the Option Share, which on Admission will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares, the total number of ordinary shares in issue with voting rights will be 142,836,873.  The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.

 

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
