Persian Gold PLC02 April 2008 Persian Gold plc. 2nd April 2008 Persian Gold PLC ("Persian Gold" or the "Company") Hires Two Key Managers in Iran Persian Gold (AIM:PNG), the Irish based Iranian gold and copper explorer, ispleased to announce the appointment of two key individuals to the Company'smanagement team in Iran. Mr. Bahman Rashidi has accepted the position ofCountry Manager and Mr. Farzin Talebi Rad has accepted the position ofOperations Manager. Both are based in Tehran. Mr. Rashidi holds a BSc in Geology from Beheshti University in Tehran and an MScin Economic Geology from Trinity College and University in Malaga, Spain. Mr. Talebi Rad holds a BSc in Geology from Tabriz University in Iran. Both men have extensive mineral exploration experience in Iran. They willsupervise the Persian Gold Dalli and Chah-e-Zard gold exploration projects but aprimary focus will be the identification of gold copper projects in the 2,000kmunderexplored Tethyan Belt. In addition, Persian Gold announces that Chah-e-Zard assay results on the 22hole diamond drill programme following positive trench sampling results havebeen received and are currently being evaluated, following which planning willbegin on the next phase of exploration.
