Drilling Commences on the Dalli Copper-GoldΒ Project
Persian Gold (AIM:PNG), the Irish based Iranian gold and copper explorer, is pleased to announce that the next phase of drilling at their Dalli porphyry copper-gold project inΒ Central IranΒ has commenced. The 1,000m drilling programme is targeted at the South Hill area at Dalli to test the lateral and depth extensions of the copper-gold mineralisation already identified.
As previously reported,Β DH-1 in the South Hill encountered continuous copper-goldΒ mineralisationΒ from the surface to 211Β metresΒ depth. DH-2, which was located 85Β metresΒ north of DH-1 on the South Hill, encountered continuous copper-goldΒ mineralisationΒ from the surface to 213Β metresΒ depth.Β
ThisΒ newΒ drillingΒ programmeΒ will investigate if thisΒ mineralisationΒ continues at depth.
This release has been approved by Bahman Rashidi, a qualified geologist with more than ten years experience exploring inΒ Iran.
