APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
The board of Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has appointed Rob Memmott as Caledonia's Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 September 2023.
Rob, a chartered accountant, has over 20 years' experience in senior financial leadership roles. He has significant listed company experience, having previously served as CFO of Arrow Global Group plc for seven years, which included its successful IPO, and John Laing Group plc before its take private transaction with KKR. Prior to this he was Finance Director of Leeds Bradford International Airport and Alfred McAlpine Infrastructure Services and CFO at Servisair-Globeground. Rob is also Treasurer and Pro Chancellor of the University of Sheffield.
Tim Livett, Caledonia's current Chief Financial Officer who advised Caledonia's board of his intention to retire in November 2022 once a suitable successor had been identified, will step down as a director on 1 September 2023 and leave the Company on 31 October 2023, to enable a smooth handover with Rob.
Commenting on the appointment, Mat Masters, Caledonia's Chief Executive Officer, said:

Notes:
1. | Mr Memmott served as Chief Financial Officer of John Laing Group plc before the company delisted on 23 September 2021. There are no further disclosures to be made pursuant to LR 9.6.13.

2. | Mr Memmott's remuneration package will be in accordance with Caledonia's approved remuneration policy. No special sign-on commitments or compensation payments for loss of benefits from a previous employer will be made in relation to his appointment.

3. | Information required by section 430 (2B) of the Companies Act 2006 relating to Mr Livett's cessation as a director of the Company will be available on Caledonia's website in due course.
