Pre- Close Trading Statement
Cape, the international provider of essential support services to the energy and natural resources sectors, issues the following update for the year ending 31 December 2008.
The Group's strong top line performance has continued over the second half of the year and results for 2008 will be in line with management expectations. The integration of the Australian acquisition remains on track.
Higher levels of activity over the final quarter combined with adverse currency movements (Australian $) have resulted in the Group narrowly missing its debt reduction target of £30m. However, operating cash flow over the year has been satisfactory.
The announcement of the preliminary results for the year will be made on 19 March 2009.
