Conygar Investment Company PLC(The)09 March 2006 The Conygar Investment Company PLCIssue of Equity The Conygar Investment Company PLC ("the Company") announces that it has todayentered into arrangements to place 8,927,405 new ordinary shares of 5 pence eachat 116 pence per share, conditional upon admission to trading on AIM, to raiseapproximately £10,356,000 before expenses ("the Placing"). The Placing has been carried out in order to satisfy investor demand for, and towiden the ownership of, the Company's shares. The net proceeds of the Placingare expected to be approximately £10,300,000 and these proceeds will be used tostrengthen the Company's balance sheet. The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the Company's existingordinary shares. Application has been made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to AIM andit is expected that admission will occur on 14 March 2006.
