("United Cacao" or the "Company")

Exercise of Options

United Cacao (AIM: CHOC), a cacao plantation company based in Peru, announces that options over 150,000 ordinary shares of US$0.001 ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price of US$1.00 per Ordinary Share and 10,000 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of US$1.25 per Ordinary Share have been exercised by Dennis Melka, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company (the "Option Exercise"). The Ordinary Shares acquired pursuant to the Option Exercise will be governed by the lock-in arrangements entered into by Dennis Melka at the time of the Company's admission to trading on AIM (further details on which are disclosed in the Company's AIM Admission document).

Following the Option Exercise, Mr. Melka is directly and indirectly (through East Pacific Capital Limited, a company wholly owned by Mr. Melka) interested in 5,220,747 Ordinary Shares, which represents 28.08 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital following the Option Exercise.

Application has been made for 160,000 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, which is expected to occur on 9 January 2015. The Company's issued share capital following the admission of the new Ordinary Shares will consist of 18,590,000 Ordinary Shares with voting rights. United Cacao does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.

The aforementioned figure of 18,590,000 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, United Cacao under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
