Churchill China PLC07 September 2007 For Immediate Release 7 September 2007 CHURCHILL CHINA PLC DIRECTORS SHARE PURCHASES In accordance with the requirements of the Companies Acts and the TransparencyDirective the Company has been notified that the following directors purchasedshares. All the shares were purchased at a price of 327.5p per ordinary share. In addition R.N.Grundy has exercised 2,000 share options under the UnapprovedExecutive Share Option Scheme at an exercise price of 171p per share. Followingthe exercise of these options, Mr Grundy will have a beneficial holding of12,000 ordinary shares in the Company representing 0.1% of the voting sharecapital. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange plc for these 2,000shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Admission of these shares is expectedto become effective on 12 September 2007. Total Voting Rights Following the issue of the above 2,000 new shares, the Company will have inissue a total of 10,947,876 ordinary shares of 10p each. The Company holds noTreasury Shares or other non voting shares and therefore the total number ofshares carrying voting rights is 10,947,876.
