AGM Statement

Churchill China plc (AIM: CHH), the manufacturer of innovative performance ceramic products serving hospitality markets worldwide, will hold its Annual General Meeting at 12 noon today. At the meeting Robin Williams, Chairman, will make the following statement:

"The Company is pleased to note that hospitality sales remain broadly in line with expectations. We are confident that our ongoing focus on efficiency and productivity will continue to deliver benefits in factory performance and the Company is well covered on energy usage for the year.

We welcome the recent announcement of £120 million of government support for the UK ceramics industry and await the detail behind it.

Although mindful of geopolitical uncertainties, including the conflict in the Middle East, we are proactively managing the factors within our control and remain confident in our long-term outlook."
