Grant of performance share plan award
Chemring Group PLC ("Chemring" or "the Company") announces that on 22 March 2019 it granted a conditional award over 336,391 1p ordinary shares in the capital of the Company to Andrew Lewis, a director of the Company, under the Chemring Group Performance Share Plan 2016. No consideration was paid for the grant of the award and no consideration is due on vesting of the award. The award will ordinarily vest on the third anniversary of grant subject to the grantee's continued service and to the extent performance conditions are satisfied. Any shares which vest, post-tax, will be subject to an additional two-year holding period.
