Appointment of Director

Chariot Oil & Gas Limited (AIM: CHAR), the Atlantic margins focused oil and gas company, announces that Andrew Hockey has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Andrew has over 35 years' experience in the oil & gas industry, with specific expertise in the development and production of gas assets in the UKCS sector. Andrew was a founder of Fairfield Energy Limited with whom he is a Non-Executive Director and was previously a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Sound Energy Plc, a mid-cap Moroccan gas company. He has previous experience with Eni, Fina, LASMO, Triton Energy and Monument. Andrew is currently CEO of Independent Oil and Gas Plc, a UK-based development and production operator with assets in the Southern North Sea gas basin.
