Interim Management Statement and AGM

The following statement will be made by the Chairman at the Annual General Meeting of the company to be held this afternoon.

I refer to the Chairman's Statement made in our annual report dated 24 June 2009. We were operating at 40% of our maximum production levels; this has now improved to just over 50%.

We hope customer de-stocking is coming to an end and the reported improvement in world economies will lead to an improvement in our markets.

The half year and full year results will depend on the continuing recovery during the next few months.
