Chaarat (AIM - CGH), the AIM quoted exploration and development company with assets in the Kyrgyz Republic, was informed on 19th January that as of that day Labro Investments Limited ("Labro") held 116,507,954 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each, representing 33% of the issued share capital of the Company, following the purchase on 18th January of 100,000 ordinary shares at a price of 10.25 pence per share and 85,789 ordinary shares at a price of 9.97 pence per share.
Martin Andersson (the Chairman of Chaarat) is indirectly beneficially interested in the majority of the shares in Labro.
In accordance with the announcement dated 27 September 2016, a further 8,969,614 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each may be acquired by the concert party within a period of six months from 1 October 2016 without triggering a requirement to make a mandatory offer under the Articles of Association of the Company.
