Challenger Energy (AIM:CEG), the Caribbean and Atlantic margin focused oil and gas company, with production, appraisal, development and exploration assets across the region, announces that following shareholder approval at the Company's EGM on 17 May 2021, the Share Consolidation of 1 New Ordinary Share of 0.02 pence each for 10 Existing Ordinary Shares of 0.002 pence each, held at the Record Date, has become effective as of 8.00 a.m. today.
The ISIN for the New Ordinary Shares is IM00BN2RD444 and the SEDOL is BN2RD44.
Total Voting Rights
Following completion of the Share Consolidation, the Company's issued share capital consists of 789,252,392 New Ordinary Shares, with each Ordinary Share carrying the right to one vote. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury. This figure of 789,252,392 New Ordinary Shares may therefore be used by shareholders in the Company, as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
