Character Group PLC31 December 2007 The Character Group plc ("Character Group" or the "Company") Total Voting Rights For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure andTransparency Rules, the total number of ordinary shares of 5p each of TheCharacter Group plc in issue as at the date of this notice is 45,491,937. The Company holds 1,947,359 ordinary shares in Treasury, which do not carry anyvoting rights. Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares carrying voting rights inCharacter Group is 43,544,578.
