Character Group PLC19 June 2006 The Character Group plc 19 June 2006 The Character Group plc (the 'Company') Directorate Change Aldo Horvat, a non-executive director of The Character Group plc has todayresigned from the Board to concentrate on new challenges in Italy and mainlandEurope as well as to pursue personal interests. Richard King, Chairman, stated on behalf of the Board "he would like to thank MrHorvat for his valuable input to the Group and wishes him well in the pursuit ofhis other interests." Mr Horvat joined the Board on 29 November 2002 in order to represent GiocciPreziosi who own 21.8% of the outstanding shares. There are no current plans to appoint a replacement non-executive.
