Commercial International Bank (Egypt) appoints two new non-executive directors to the Board of Directors

CIB would like to announce the appointment of H.E Dr. Amani Abou-Zeid, and Mrs. Magda Habib as non-executive directors of the Board, having obtained the approval of the Central Bank of Egypt. The Board will advise the General Assembly with the effected changes in the first upcoming meeting.

H.E Dr. Abou-Zeid serves as African Union Commissioner for infrastructure, Energy, Trade and Industry. Dr. Abou-Zeid is an international development expert with 30 years of professional experience mainly in international development organizations. Throughout her professional career, she was responsible for implementing and managing large international programmes as well as establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships. Geographically, her professional experience expands through Africa, France, United Kingdom, and Canada.

Mrs. Habib has vast experience in the technical information technology and electronics payment as well as smart banking solutions. Moreover, Mrs. Habib has 25 years expertise in various managerial arenas including strategic brand management, consumer and retail marketing, corporate communications and investor relations. Mrs. Habib is the Co-Founder and CEO of Dawi Climics - Egypt.

Both valuable additions expand the Board to become nine directors, seven of whom are non-executives, with the majority being independent directors.

البنك التجاري الدولي (مصر) يقوم بتعيين عضويين غير تنفيذيين في مجلس الإدارة

يسر البنك التجاري الدولي أن يعلن عن انضمام معالي الدكتورة أماني أبو زيد، والأستاذة ماجدة حبيب إلي مجلس الإدارة كأعضاء غير تنفيذيين، حيث وافق البنك المركزي المصري على ترشيحات مجلس الإدارة في هذا الخصوص. وسيقوم المجلس بإحاطة الجمعية العامة في أول اجتماع قادم لها بالتعديلات التي طرأت على تشكيل مجلس الإدارة منذ أخر اجتماع منعقد.

وتشغل معالي الدكتورة أماني أبو زيد منصب مفوض الاتحاد الأفريقي للبنية التحتية والطاقة والتجارة والصناعة. وتتمتع سيادتها بثلاثين عامًا من الخبرة المهنية في مجال التنمية الدولية، والتي قامت من خلالها بإدارة العديد من البرامج الدولية الهامة، فضلًا عن نجاحها في إقامة وإدارة عدد من الشراكات الاستراتيجية المؤثرة. وتمتد وتتنوع أفاق خبرتها المهنية لتشمل أفريقيا وفرنسا والمملكة المتحدة وكندا.

تتمتع الأستاذة ماجدة حبيب بخبرة فنية طويلة في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات، والحلول الذكية لأنظمة الصيرفة، وخدمات الدفع الالكتروني. كما تمتد خبرة سيادتها المهنية لخمسة وعشرون عامًا لتشمل مجالات إدارية متنوعة من بينها استراتيجية إدارة العلامة التجارية ومجال التسويق والاتصالات المؤسسية وعلاقات المستثمرين. وتشغل الأستاذة ماجدة حبيب الشريك المؤسس لشركة داوي لتجهيز المنشآت الطبية منصب الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة.

وبانضمام سيادتهما للمجلس، يصبح تشكيل مجلس الإدارة مكون من تسعة أعضاء، من بينهم سبعة غير تنفيذيين معظمهم من المستقلين.
