Andrew Evans appointed MD of Exhibitions Division

Centaur Media plc (LSE: CAU), the business information and events group, has appointed Andrew Evans as Managing Director of the Exhibitions Division with effect from 1 September 2011. He will join the Group's operating board.

Andrew is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Brand Events Ltd, an international events business which organises a number of high profile events. Previously, Andrew was Managing Director of Fresh RM, a business to business exhibitions company and a director of Reed Exhibitions Ltd.

"Andrew has over 24 years of experience in the exhibitions industry, both in the UK and international markets and has led businesses operating with a focus on both business-to-business and business to consumer markets.

"With the two other divisional managing directors on the newly established operating board, I am confident Andrew will play a key part in the future growth of Centaur."
