Board Appointment

Centaur, a leading business to business information, intelligence and events group, is pleased to announce that Colin Jones will be appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 1 September 2018.

Colin Jones was, until mid-June 2018, Finance Director of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC ("Euromoney"), where he worked in leadership roles for 22 years.

During his time at Euromoney, Colin contributed to the group's growth to become a global, multi-brand information business that has successfully transformed itself from its traditional media origins into a company that is more customer-centric and subscription-based. He has extensive M&A expertise through Euromoney's many successful transactions.

Prior to Euromoney, Colin was a Director at Price Waterhouse Europe, where he advised on a wide range of corporate issues including strategy, remuneration, financing, technology and M&A.

On appointment to the Board, Colin will become chairman of Centaur's Remuneration Committee and will be responsible for overseeing the triennial review of Centaur's Remuneration Policy. Colin will also join the Audit Committee, with the intention that he will succeed Robert Boyle as chairman of the Audit Committee when Robert retires from the role during the first half of 2019. On becoming chairman of the Audit Committee, Colin will relinquish the role of chairman of the Remuneration Committee.
