Board Changes

Centaur, an international provider of business intelligence, learning and specialist consultancy, today announces that Swag Mukerji has informed the Board of his decision to retire as Chief Executive Officer on 31 December 2024, and has stepped down from the Board with effect from 11 December 2024.

Martin Rowland, who joined the Board as Non-Independent Non-Executive Chair on 28 October 2024, will assume the role of Executive Chair with effect from 31 December 2024, providing day to day leadership of the business, supported by the Executive Committee.

Martin will lead a review of Centaur's business operations and strategy alongside senior management over the coming months. A fundamental part of this review will address the Board's desire to realise Centaur's potential and to maximise shareholder value while remaining our customers' partner of choice for business intelligence and learning.

Martin Rowland, Executive Chair, commented:

"The Board would like to thank Swag for his hard work and dedication since he joined the Company in 2016. He has been instrumental in driving Centaur's strategy refresh and turnaround during his years of leadership. Swag both enhanced the level of rigour and governance and navigated the unprecedented challenges that Covid-19 presented, not only commercially, but for our people and wider stakeholders. We wish him all the best for the future.

Swag Mukerji, outgoing CEO, said:

I am delighted that Martin will be steering Centaur through its next phase and will follow Centaur's development with keen interest."
