Board changes

This announcement confirms the Board changes set out in Carclo's preliminary announcement of results for the year ended 31 March 2012 which was issued on 12 June 2012.

Ian Williamson will retire in March 2013 after eighteen years as chief executive. Chris Malley has been appointed to the board of Carclo as executive director (chief executive designate) with effect from 1 July 2012. Chris has been with Carclo for thirteen years, and has held senior positions in finance, corporate development and divisional management. He is currently chief executive of Conductive Inkjet Technology Limited. Ian Williamson has indicated his willingness to assist Carclo as a technology consultant if required.

Robert Rickman has been appointed to the board as a non executive director with effect from 1 July 2012. He is now a partner in Rockley Group, a private technology investment group with interests and funds in the UK, USA and China. He is an independent non-executive director of AIM-listed Cambium Global Timberlands Ltd and of Schroder UK Mid & Small Cap Fund plc which is listed on the LSE. From 2001 until 2007 Robert was a Director and latterly Chairman of the AIM-listed Highland Timber PLC. He was a director of telecoms and datacoms equipment manufacturer Bookham Technology PLC from 1994 to 2004, during which time the company was listed on the LSE and NASDAQ.
