Central African Gold Plc ("CAG" or the "Company")
Temporary suspension
CAG announces that it has today requested a temporary suspension, with immediate effect, of trading of its shares on AIM, pending clarification of the Company's financial position and its requirement for further short and medium term funding to enable the Company to continue operating.
The Company is in discussions with its bankers with regard to its short term liquidity position and is also actively exploring an equity raising.
A further announcement will be made as soon as possible.
