Appointment of Directors

The board of Camellia Plc announces that Mr Christopher Ames and Mr Peter Field have been appointed executive directors with effect from 1st October 2008.
In addition to their current roles, Christopher Ames will work with the Chairman and Chief Executive on the management of the group's operations in Africa and Peter Field will fulfil a similar role in respect of India and Bangladesh.
Christopher Ames, a Chartered Accountant, is Managing Director UK Operations and a non-executive director of Duncan Lawrie Holdings Limited. He was previously Managing Director of Douglas Deakin Young Limited which was acquired by the Camellia group in February 2005. Prior to that he was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Peter Field is Managing Director Banking and Financial Services and heads Duncan Lawrie Limited. Before joining the group in 1987, he was with Grindlays Bank engaged primarily with their business in the Indian subcontinent.
There are no matters to disclose in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of the FSA's Listing Rules.
