LICENCE UPDATE
Cadogan today provides a further update regarding its Pirkovskoe and Zagoryanska special permits ("licences").
Further to the decision of the Kharkiv Appellate Administrative Court of Ukraine (the "Court") dated 20 August 2008, which allowed Cadogan to appeal against the Poltava Region Commercial Court's earlier decisions on the invalidation of the Pirkovskoe and Zagoryanska licence, the first hearings took place on 17 and 18 September 2008. During those hearings the Court ordered the Ministry of Environment ("the Ministry") to provide documents which had served as grounds for reregistration of the licences.
On 22 September 2008, the Court found that the Ministry failed to fulfil the above court orders. The Court, on second occasion, requested the Ministry to provide the relevant documents.
The next hearings in both cases are scheduled for 29 September 2008.
