Result of General Meeting and Admission to AIM
Northern Petroleum (AIM: NOP) announces that at its General Meeting held earlier today, all resolutions put to shareholders were duly passed.
Further to the Company's announcements of 30 November and 1 December, 2016, application has been made for the 124,047,017 First Tranche Subscription Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, which expected to take place at 8:00 am on 19 December 2016. Following the issue of the First Tranche Shares, Northern Petroleum will have 272,592,368 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in issue, which will also represent the total number of voting rights in the Company. This figure should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
The Company expects to provide an update on the Disposals shortly.
The Open Offer closes for acceptances at 11:00 am on 9 January and the results will be announced on 10 January 2017.
Capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the circular that was sent to shareholders on 30 November unless the context otherwise requires.
