Ordinary Shares of Big Yellow Group PLC (the "Company").

Nature of the transaction

The Company announced today that it raised proceeds of approximately £81.9 million (before expenses) through a placing of 8,335,043 new ordinary shares of ten pence each in the capital of the Company (the 'Placing Shares') at a price of 983 pence per Placing Share (the "Placing"). The Placing is conditional upon, amongst other things, the Placing Shares being admitted to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange plc (together, "Admission").
