Update on the supply of COVID-19 vaccine
Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited ("Beximco Pharma" or "the Company"; AIM Symbol: BXP, LEI No.: 213800IMBBD6TIOQGB56), the fast-growing manufacturer of generic pharmaceutical products and active pharmaceutical ingredients, announces an update on the supply of COVID-19 vaccine in Bangladesh.
Further to the announcement on 11 October 2021, and as part of the previously announced agreement with the Government of Bangladesh and the Serum Institute of India Private Limited (SII), the Company has received a delivery of 4.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses from SII for distribution in Bangladesh. To date, 12.5 million doses have been delivered to Bangladesh. Under the terms of the original agreement, 30 million doses are to be delivered in total.
