Contract to develop and supply military communication equipment

BATM (LSE: BVC), a leading designer and producer of broadband data and telecom systems, isΒ delighted to announce that afterΒ fourΒ years of rigorous testing,Β itΒ has received an order fromΒ a prominent defence force. The contract isΒ for the development and supply ofΒ a modified version ofΒ the Company'sΒ new generation of secure,Β high speed access platform.Β
BATM will be the sole supplier of such platformsΒ to this customer.
The contract is valued at approximatelyΒ USDΒ 5Β millionΒ for the years 2010-2011,Β however, it is expected that additional equipmentΒ ordersΒ will follow theΒ initial deployment. The Company alsoΒ expects the order to become an important reference for other defenceΒ forces.
