UNAUDITED INTERIM RESULTS AND INTERIM MANAGEMENT STATEMENT

FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED

 30 JUNE 2008

Further to the announcement of its unaudited interim results and interim management statement on 20 August 2008, British Smaller Technology Companies VCT 2 plc ("the Company") has published its Half Yearly Financial Report for the period from 1 January to 30 June 2008 ("the Half Yearly Report"). 

Copies of the Half Yearly Report have been forwarded to the FSA for publication through the document viewing facility in accordance with LR 9.6.1.
