British SmallerTechCompaniesVCT2PLC30 November 2005 ANNOUNCEMENT BRITISH SMALLER TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES VCT 2 PLC ("BSTC2" / the "Company") FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE This announcement is made in connection with a scheme for the reconstruction ofBritish Smaller Technology Companies VCT plc ("BSTC") and the acquisition ofthat company's assets and liabilities ("the Scheme") by the Company, details ofwhich were published on 31 October 2005. The board of directors of BSTC2 is pleased to announce that all the resolutionsproposed at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held on Wednesday 30November 2005 were duly passed. It is envisaged that the assets and liabilitiesof British Smaller Technology Companies VCT PLC ("BSTC") will be transferred tothe Company, and the Company will issue the consideration shares, on 8 December2005, subject to the passing of the necessary resolutions at the extraordinarygeneral meeting of BSTC convened for that day.
