Third party investment into Gyrometric Systems Limited
Braveheart Investment Group plc (AIM:BRH), the fund management and strategic investor group, notes that one of its Strategic Investments, Gyrometric Systems Limited ("Gyrometric"), has today completed an equity fund raising totalling £250,000 with all the investment being made by Strat Aero plc ("Strat Aero"). As a result, Strat Aero now holds an interest in 37% of the issued share capital of Gyrometric. Braveheart did not participate in this equity fund raising and so, following this investment, Braveheart's total holding in Gyrometric has reduced to 41% of the issued share capital. The unrealised net uplift in the value of Braveheart's holding, after accounting for profit shares due to third parties and subject to audit, is expected to be in the region of £100,000.
Gyrometric produces digital measurement system for rotating shafts which are being used to monitor large marine drives, where it is producing considerable savings for the ship owners. These funds will be used to increase the sales and marketing resources and drive the business into wind turbine monitoring and other power generation markets.
