Bridgepoint is pleased to announce the appointment of Ruth Prior as Chief Financial Officer and as a director of the Company, succeeding Adam Jones who will step down later this year. Adam Jones will continue as Chief Financial Officer and a director of the Company until Ruth's appointment takes effect later in the year.

Ruth is the current CFO of Element Materials Technology, a former Bridgepoint portfolio company and global provider of testing, inspection and certification services. Previously, Ruth was CFO of William Hill plc, leading the finance, assurance, legal and procurement functions, and COO at Worldpay, a private equity backed global payment processing business where she helped lead the digital transformation and preparation of the business leading up to and following the firm's FTSE100 IPO in 2015. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly ten years in a variety of operational and financial roles within the private equity industry. Ruth is also a non-executive director and chair of the audit and risk committee for Motability Operations Group plc, a company that provides mobility solutions for the disabled in the UK.

Adam has played a critical role in Bridgepoint's first three years as a listed company and is stepping down after six successful years with the business. He and the Board have agreed that now is the right time to hand over the CFO reins ahead of the next phase of growth.
