("BIOPHARMA CREDIT" OR THE "COMPANY") 

DIVIDEND DECLARATION

BioPharma Credit PLC (LSE: BPCR), the specialist life sciences debt investor, is pleased to declare an interim dividend in respect of the financial period ending 30 June 2019 of $0.0175 per ordinary share, payable on 20 September 2019 to ordinary shareholders on the register as at 17 August 2019. The Company has chosen to designate the entire amount of this interim dividend as an interest distribution. Shareholders in receipt of such a dividend will be treated for UK tax purposes as though they have received a payment of interest. This will result in a reduction in the corporation tax payable by the Company.

The Company is currently paying and continues to target a 7 cent annual dividend per ordinary share.

The default payment for dividends is in US dollars. However, shareholders can elect to have dividends paid in sterling (GBP) and the option to elect a sterling dividend payment for this dividend will be available to shareholders until 17 August 2019 (the "Election Date").

Further details together with a copy of the Dividend Currency Election Form, which should be sent to Link Asset Services, The Registry, 34 Beckenham Road, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 4TU when completed, will be available on the Group's website shortly at www.bpcruk.com/investor-materials. CREST shareholders must elect via CREST.
