Gold Oil PLC06 September 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 6 September 2006 GOLD OIL PLC ("Gold Oil" or the "Company") Shareholding The Company were informed on 5 September 2006 of the following: that at the close of business on 1 September 2006, Man Financial Limited nolonger has a notifiable interest in the ordinary shares of Gold Oil; that at 1 September 2006, Credit Agricole Cheuvreux International Limited("Credit Agricole") has an interest in 14,815,000 ordinary shares of Gold Oil,representing 3.59% of the issued share capital; and that at 4 September 2006, Credit Agricole has an interest in 17,015,000 ordinaryshares of Gold Oil representing 4.12% of the issued share capital. Today, 6 September 2006, the Company were also informed that as at 11.00 attoday's date Mr Iraj Parvizi has an interest in and is the registered holder of38,631,818 ordinary shares in Gold Oil, representing a total holding of 9.37% ofthe Company's issued share capital.
