Grant of share options and issue of LTIPs
Blackbird plc (AIM: BIRD), developer and seller of market-leading cloud video platform Blackbird, announces that on 7 May 2020 options over the Company's ordinary shares of 0.8 pence (the "Ordinary Shares") were granted to the directors listed below as part of an employee-wide share option grant over 2,900,000 unissued Ordinary Shares:

The options were granted under the Company's EMI share option scheme and subject to certain performance conditions.
Following the above grant there are a total of 11,755,000 share options granted over unissued Ordinary Shares granted to Directors and PDMRs representing 3.51% of the Company's current Ordinary share capital of 335,239,092 Ordinary Shares.
Ian McDonough, the Company's Chief Executive, has today been issued 275 LTIP 1 units according to the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan which was approved by shareholders at the 2019 Annual General Meeting. Under the Long Term Incentive Plan, LTIP 1 and LTIP 2 units are designed to allow individuals to share in improving shareholder value above a base share price (0.15p and 0.20p for LTIP 1 and LTIP 2 respectively) and run for 3 years. The Long Term Incentive Plan is designed to reward specific individuals for activities that drive value creation. Each of LTIP 1 and LTIP 2 consists of 5,000 LTIP units that collectively form a pool and each pool is calculated at 5% of the value above the base price. Details of the Long Term Incentive Plan are set out in the investor section of the Company's website.
In addition to the LTIP 1 units issued today, Ian McDonough currently hold options to acquire 5,130,000 Ordinary shares pursuant to the Company's EMI share option scheme.
