AGM statement 5 September 2008
At the AGM of Forbidden Technologies plc this morning the Company's Chairman, Mr Vic SteelΒ commented as follows:
In the market place at large, the credit crunch has focussed the minds of our current and potential customers on how they can increase the efficiency of their workflows. Forbidden's flagship service, FORscene, fits into the professional post-production workflow, and FORscene users themselves are saying that FORscene "saves time and money". It is encouraging to see that broadcast professionals are rising to the challenge presented by these financial pressures and are starting to replace their old and inefficient workflows with modern internet-based workflows using FORscene. Recent FORscene customers include ALL3MEDIA, theΒ UK's number 1 independent production company, and Fremantle in LA with theirΒ America's Got Talent series. The combination of the continuing improvements in FORscene, customer enthusiasm and financial imperatives worldwide indicate growing sales of FORscene looking forwards, both in theΒ UKΒ and inΒ North America.
